You can register for upcoming live educational sessions, listen to past webinar recordings, and register for live-in person programs at the Maryland Patient Safety Center.
I work for an organization that is a member of the Maryland Patient Safety Center. Do I have to create a login?
Yes, create a login and choose the organization you work for. Please use your work email address when creating your account.
I do not work for an organization that is a member of the Maryland Patient Safety Center. Can I access courses and recordings through this platform?
Yes, you may browse available content, however, most educational sessions and webinars are associated with a cost for non-members.
How do I register for an upcoming webinar?
Maryland Patient Safety Center members may register for upcoming webinars for free while non-members may register for a fee. You must be logged in to register and view the webinar. Click the "Register" button on the webinar's page to register. Once registered, you will receive an email confirmation that contains access information. You may also view webinars you registered for in your dashboard.
Where do I access all the programs that I registered for/attended?
Log in and visit "My Dashboard." There you will find all upcoming live events and on-demand programs for which you have registered. Note: once a live event is concluded, you will find that title under "On-Demand Products."  Select a program title to open and view the various tabs and components for that program. To join live events, view on-demand recordings, complete surveys and post-tests, and claim certificates, go to the "Contents" tab.
How do I access copies of slides or handouts?
Go to "My Dashboard," and click the title of the program and look for the "Handouts" tab. The "Handouts" tab may not be viewable until just prior to the start of the event as materials are still being finalized.
I was not able to attend a session. When will the recording be available?
For educational sessions, recordings will be available within 24 hours. Some sessions, such as Safe Tables, will not be recorded for confidentiality purposes.
How is content organized? How do I find a specific course, webinar, etc.?
Currently, the platform hosts webinars (live and on-demand) and Safe Table discussions. Registration for live events will take place through this platform as well. You may use the search/filter options to view different content types or use the keyword search to look for specific content. Events for the next 2 months can be found on the main page by clicking the tile called Upcoming Events. Additionally, you can access a calendar of upcoming events.
How can I access my certificate of completion?
Once you have completed a course, you may download and print your certificate of completion by going to the course and clicking on the "Certificate" button.
How are the products in the "Recommended for You" feature selected?
In your profile, there is a section called "Interest in Categories." These options mirror categories in the catalog. All the products populated on your "Recommended for You" menu selection are selected based on the categories you selected in your profile (0 = low level of interest; 5 = high level of interest)
